Alternatives to customize phpBB themes

Post by umarizal » Tue Feb 28, 2017 12:57 pm

My friends, I've always used Colorize It to customize the colors of Prosilver in phpBB of my sites like Guia da Obra and Terraplenagem.Net, however, they no longer support new versions from 3.2.

Do you know of a similar website or even some software that allows you to make changes to phpBB themes like in Prosilver without having to directly manipulate with codes?

Thank you all ;-)

ColorizeIt is still possible for use on certain styles that we have available in our Customisations Database.

Take a look at prosilver for example. If you click the colourful image at the end of the 3.2 download you will be directed to a page on ColorizeIt where you can change the colours and download the 3.2 style. :)

I had not tried this yet, as they said they would no longer support the versions from phpBB 3.2. Many thanks, I'll try this!

Arty was talking about his own styles no longer being maintained for 3.2, not the ColorizeIt system. ColorizeIt is designed to be self-sustaining, at least for the immediate future.

Perfect, thank you for the help and sorry for my lack of knowledge.

I will try to update my forums to version 3.2 this weekend, if all goes well, I was just waiting to see what I would do on this issue of the theme.

Thank you very much.

Hug!

you can use this http://codepen.io/hanakin/pen/oZLLyx?editors=0100

This is a SASS version of the prosilver colurs.css file I put together. Just play with the variables and switch the view to compiled css and replace your colours.css file with the results.

This will only work for the base prosilver colours file mind you!

Use an extension that overrides the css of the theme you use. Best solution there is and doesnt mess with updates.
