How to get my logo to fit and bg colour

Post by pastilles » Sat May 27, 2017 12:05 am

I'm having great difficulty getting my logo to fit since upgrading to PHPBB 3.2. I'd like it to fit in neatly with rounded edges (like the phpbb logo/banner here), but the width is off, and it looks out of place. I know neither the place to edit my logo or the code to do so. I would be grateful if someone can point me in the right direction with this?

Another issue is the background colour, where can I change it from the default grey (highlighted by the arrow in the image) to a custom colour? I can find a correct colour for myself I just need to know where the code is.

Thank you in advance,

there are two ways to edit your logo

1. edit/re-create the logo itself at a small size.
2. you can scale the logo to fit using css if that is how you are serving it.

in colours.css on line 151 change the .site_logo class to the following

Code: Select all

.site_logo {
    background-image: url(./images/topHead.jpg);
    background-size: 88% 100%;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
NOTE: you may have to play with the % for the different responsive breakpoints

as for the background of the page its on the body in colours.css line 6
