Complaint about default Prosilver color theme

Post by WWu777 » Thu Nov 23, 2017 9:55 pm

I'd like to log a complaint.

I don't understand something. Why is the default Prosilver theme always the same colors of baby blue and bright blue? I think it's kind of bright for a forum. I mean, I love light blue and all....... for the sky that is, and for the water at a beach resort too, and it's wonderful for baby toys too, but for a forum??? Come on. Kind of odd don't you think?

The default colors should be the most agreeable colors that is the least controversial. Baby blue is kind of bright for that don't you think? Usually default colors are softer and less bright, like dark blue or dark green, or even black and white. Not bright colors like this. It's a pain and a lot of tedious trouble to change colors on a forum theme, so the default theme ought to be the most agreeable to the most people. That would be the most logical. Yet the default color of Prosilver hasn't been changed since 2007. The developers ought to consider this.

This is the support forums for questions not for complaints. If you would like to suggest improvements you can do this via ideas, if you would like to submit a bug this can be done via the bug tracker.

thanks

You can always download and install a style that fits your needs.

How do I move this topic to another board then? How about I move it to the phpbb discussion board here?

viewforum.php?f=64

Can one of you do it?

Or should I submit it as a new idea here:

we are currently developing a brand new theme from scratch for the next version, so its not something that's really necessary anyway

What will the colors for the new theme be? Will they be bright blue again or something less loud?

Like the rest of us - you will just have to bide your time and wait until it is released.
