making specific sections like...

Post by TheButcher2 »

How can you create a bunch of heading like this screen cap. Not the exact text.I have a plan to make a forum on my board to list affiliate programs, designers, content, billing.... and list sites under each category.

Is there a plugin to create multiple sections like this on a page, I searched could not come up with, so thinking it has to be a code modification.

The phpBB ideas centre you screen capped is on Github if its any use to you to modify for your own needs: https://github.com/phpbb/ideas
My phpBB styles: phpbbstyles.iansvivarium.com
My "board": iansvivarium.com
(yes, it's running phpBB!)

nobody knows what you want to accomplish based on your post above.
that page you showed is a separate thing from standard phpbb. you can download it from the link he gave you but you will be on your own to figure out if and how it may be of use to you.

from your question, I assume that what you want is just the basic way that phpbb does categories and forums etc. just like you have been doing all along.
however, what you asked and the image you showed don't reallly make any sense together.

Hi Robert

What I am trying to do is create a page with a bunch of sections to list sites.

Affiliate programs, designers, programmers, billing services, seo ....

If I could do it with that sort of style. instead of top idea have say programs, and instead of latest ideas have designer, and do this like 8 times on a page...

Does that make sense?

why can't you just use the standard way to create categories and forums?
if you are not talking about making them actual forums and just links then you can just create whatever type of html page you want.
you can use phpbb styling if you wish etc.
still not clear exactly what you are trying to do.

Let me try explain it another way Robert.

Ideally I'd like a page with say 1 - 3 columns left to right

with heading, affiliate programs, designers, content, programmers, billing....
and links under each heading to the relevant sites.

ok, then that has nothing to do with phpbb.

just create whatever page you want using html and css and if you want it visible within your board you can link to it from your navbar menu etc.

you could also create this page within phpbb using the pages extension. that way it would look like the rest of your board.
then you put whatever html you want to create your columns with links etc.

You might want to look at this extension - https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... _linklist/
