haven't tested your extension for this but if it will allow you to use the event: <!-- EVENT overall_header_body_before --> for placing the link, it would put it outside the whole forum which in his case would be to the far left of the page. that would be up to the OP of course to decide if that is how he wants the links.

It does: https://github.com/Solidjeuh/BoardMagic ... efore.html

You can add HTML or whatever in the template events. They are all present up to phpBB 3.2.5 : https://github.com/Solidjeuh/BoardMagic ... late/event

Hi, test it please: for one or two links, testing here in prosilver vs. 3.2.5

CSS:

Code: Select all

.headernavparttop {
	width: 100%;
	float: left;
	background: #282828;
	border-bottom: 8px solid rgba(0,0,0,0.6);
	border-radius: 7px;
}

.textlogoontop {
	display: block;
	width: 100%;
	margin-left: 10px;
	padding: 13px 8px;
	text-decoration: none;
	font-size: 11px;
	font-weight: bold;
	color: white;
}

@media screen and (min-width:800px) {
	.textlogoontop {
	width: auto;
	float: left;
	}
}

HTML: overall_header.html
find
<div class="headerbar" role="banner">

add before:

Code: Select all

		<div class="inner">
			<div class="headernavparttop">
				<div><a href="http://www.reasonheads.com" class="textlogoontop" title="Startpage"><span>W/e you want to call it</a></span></div>
				<div><a href="https://blog.phpbb.com/" class="textlogoontop" title="phpBB Blog"><span>phpBB-blog</a></span></div>
			</div>
		</div>
		<div style="clear: both;"></div>

Clear all caches after your works.

Regards

Edit:
Please create language variables, etc., use the corresponding link information in succession. The example is therefore still unfinished .... ;)

Edit: Result --> My test in the original prosilver 3.2.5

1. using the extension and choosing overall_header_body_before would put it outside the wrap which would align it to the left of the whole page.
2. using the code from Talk19Zehn: <div class="headerbar" role="banner">would put it above the headerbar but still within the wrap.
3. using my idea of putting it after <div id="wrap" class="wrap"> would put it above the headerbar but still within the wrap.

just depends on where you want the links to show up.

robert

EDIT: corrected above
EDIT2: just created a sample of where it would show up etc.:

I believe it would be like this:

Code: Select all

<div id="wrap" class="wrap">
<a class="top-link" href="http://www.reasonheads.com" title="">W/e you want to call it</a>
yes its not aligned this way you would want to wrap it.

Code: Select all

<div class="top-link-wrap" style="margin: 0px auto; padding: 16px 0px 0px; max-width: 1152px;">
    <a title="" class="top-link" href="www.reasonheads.com">W/e you want to call it</a>
</div>
I used inline styles here but you can easily apply them to the .top-link-wrap class

Yes indeed, if the CSS of my code is maintained, you can also insert the HTML code into the body (which is 100% full width (!)) also.
Just try my CSS and HTML code via online tool again and the result is okay. The link is located where it should be, according to request.

<a class="top-link" href="www.reasonheads.com" title="">W/e you want to call it</a>
+ this? simply edit the overall_header.html file of whatever style you want .

find: <div id="wrap" class="wrap"> and put it on the next line.
One more question: How do I make it opening in a new tab?

So it should be like this?

Code: Select all

<a href="www.reasonheads.com" target="_blank">REASONHEADS</a>
Thanks, and sorry I ask it here and not googling.

Wait! How to combine these two codes i.e. where to put the: " target="_blank"

<a class="top-link" href="www.reasonheads.com" title="">Reasonheads</a> <-- This is the code I already have.

<a href="www.reasonheads.com/" target="_blank">Reasonheads</a>

I tried this but it doesn't open a link in a new tab: <a class="top-link" href="www.reasonheads.com" target="_blank"title="">Reasonheads Home</a>

You need a space before title=

I added a space, still not opening in a new tab. :)
