bootlike for phpBB 3.3.4 / BS 5

Post by serek »

Is there a way to expand by default sub-forums list in the newest version?

The drop down list a nice concept and sleek design, but for many persons I interviewed it requires one click more to get inside the forum they are interested in.

In _config.html you can define how forums are displayed.

Amazing, it is the best phpBB style, no doubts!

I have created a repository which I mentioned before:

https://github.com/ser/phpbb-bootstrap

The aim is to keep together all bootstrap styles and styles for extensions.

My first own production is a style for 2FA extension, it's not fully finished but usable.

Reviews and help is welcomed.

Also how come some extensions arent supported such as Board Rules, Knowledge Base, Pastebin, Articles, Glossary ? And is there a list of supported extensions I can see?
The errors im getting from the extensions I listed:

Code: Select all

Unable to find template "boardrules_controller.html" (looked into: /membri/cheyne/phpBB3/ext/phpbb/boardrules/styles/all/template, /membri/cheyne/phpBB3/styles/bootlike/template, /membri/cheyne/phpBB3/styles/bootlike/theme, /membri/cheyne/phpBB3/styles/all/template).

Code: Select all

Unable to find template "glossaire.html" (looked into: /membri/cheyne/phpBB3/ext/lmdi/gloss/styles/all/theme, /membri/cheyne/phpBB3/styles/bootlike/template, /membri/cheyne/phpBB3/styles/bootlike/theme, /membri/cheyne/phpBB3/styles/all/template).

Code: Select all

Unable to find template "@phpbbde_pastebin/pastebin_body.html" (looked into: ).
And Knowledge Base shows as a forum board
This board has no forums.
How do I get this quick style thingy of mine to look like the demo forum's one?

This style is based on Bootstrap so it does not work with almost all extensions.

Is there an alternative way of doing these extensions or would I need to do custom pages myself by php/html?
