Style Version: 3.2.7
phpbb Version: 3.2.7
Language: de, de_x_sie, en, fr, it, nl
Prosilver version 3.2.7 must be installed
Demo and Download

Changes in 3.2.5.4 / 3.2.7.1
* Overall_header and navbar_header reviewed and adjusted
* Entire style.css newly adjusted (color error corrected)

Changed in Version 3.2.7
* Icon-green-color: changed color
* PM border-color changed

Important:

Larger style changes are too difficult for beginners with this style!

However, any description length is possible, if the forum title is too long, the header doesn't look good in smaller displays.
Therefore this style is not recommended for forums with a long title!

The style width is fixed. Otherwise most of it would have to be adapted, also in the responsive (The Style consists of 3 Wraps).
I will definitely not give support for changes in the style width. That's too time consuming!

If you want to change the header background, you should also change the tabs, navigation and buttons.
Because everything is adjusted to the header background.

A logo can be inserted in the header, but a whole header image is not responsive.
The logo has to be inserted in two sizes in the image folder of the style.
If you want the logo to be much bigger, you have to create 3 logos and adjust the responsive.

Info:
If you do not want to display a forum title, a small black border is displayed.
If you don't want this you have to replace the whole code in colored_welcome.css line 26, with this code:

Code: Select all

h1 {
    color: #E9967A;
    font-family: "Trebuchet MS", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-weight: bold;
    font-size: 1.6em;
    text-align: center;
    text-shadow: #000 1px 1px 0;
    width: 60%;
    padding-top: 2px;
    padding-bottom: 4px;
    margin: -40px auto 10px;
}
NOTE: You can't just delete the whole code part and write a display:none. Otherwise the whole header will be moved and not correct anymore. With this code change it looks okay in every display. But it also looks good with the small black border (See below in the corresponding picture).

There are alternative icons for the icon topic_hot

I still have an alternative complete icon set in progress (forum and announcement icons with the header background).

For IE9 it needed quite some more adjustments. Now it looks okay. :) In IE 8 my page is unfortunately no longer displayed (no matter which style is set as the main style). I don't know with what else you could test it now (Certainly some adjustments would be necessary for IE8 ). :( (Tested with this tool: https://netrenderer.de/index.php ) But the main thing is that the style looks good in IE9 and all other Windows browsers.

Suggestions for changes/improvements are of course always welcome.
Style errors may still exist.

Downloadlink of the version BETA is updated in the first article.

Note that IE9 always displays a dark blue header background. Otherwise you have to change the color of the bg_header.gif in the images folder.
The color of the wide forabg and forumbg border is also blue in IE9. What can be changed in the tweaks.css

New font installed (Chunkfive, sans-serif), because the other fonts with red color were only readable with text-shadow. Text-shadow should be avoided.

IE 10 did not display a border because he is not able to display multicolored gradient borders. It took until I figured out how I can outsmart it to display a monochrome border :lol: .

Style should be ready by now. I might have missed something.
Maybe it would be better if there were also no shadow border in the header wrap in the phone with large displays? Because in the responsive checker it looks like if the forum description goes over two lines, you can only read the top line in the Phone Landscape view if it has a shadow border. (Feedback in this regard would be good ;) I don't have a phone with a huge display. Demo link in first post )
That's why I leave the style as Beta

Changes in version 3.2.5_beta3:

* Fixed / moved an event in overall_header
* The responsive completely new adapted
* body_wrap width changed from px to %
* Some colors changed / new adjusted
* Box-shadow inserted in footer_wrap
* Changed box-shadow of dropdowns

* Additional iconset in the colors of the header inserted in contrib

I've now cleaned up this topic entirely basically bringing it back to what it was when the OP started it. This should satisfy the style author entirely so they can focus on style development.

Please stay on topic. Thanks!
