Do you know what the Katyn's massacre is?

Post by daroPL » Thu Apr 08, 2010 3:33 pm

Yesterday, there was the Katyn's massacre anniversary and in Katyn there was a celebration because of that. There were generally Polish and Russian politics, including the prime ministers of these countries. However, I think that all the world should remember about that. There was murdered about 21 thousands of people, mainly Polish officers.
All the time, Russia can't sorry for that happenings, and even they don't open all their archives about the massacre.
I understand that "sorry" can be difficult to say, but I think they should open the archives for history.

For more information you can visit the wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katyn_massacre

I'd like to know you know what it is?

I'll admit that I don't know much war history, especially WWII. I do know that a large number of Polish people perished but I had not heard of the Katyn Massacre until now. I do think that it is unfortunate that modern world powers try their best to hide their dirty secrets, much like Turkey does trying to deny the Armenian Genocide. :|

More profound tragedy out of the event:

We should talk less, and say more.

The place isn't good for Polish. At first, the Katyn Massacre, and now the plane crash with the most important heads in Poland. It's terrible.

I see your president was killed, but why was there a number of important people on the same flight?
It is common practice among countries not to fly them all in one plane at the same time.
The simple reason is that your government will retain the ability to work even if one or two of its ministers are killed. Now you need a new elections for just about all.

I ask the same question myself as well. However, the army general staff says that procedures were kept.

I admit I did not know and like me there are many who do not know of that crime committed by the Russian army. I think it is necessary to inform the public of such massacres so they stop adoring marxism, socialism and individuals who have also committed crimes against humanity, like, Fidel Castro, el Che Guevara, Stalin, Hitler, etc. I see people wearing t-shirts with el che guevara's face, do these people know really what that criminal did? We need to know more about such regimes and regime followers.
