it seems google update pagerank today.

i happy because my portal get pagerank 4 and my forum get 3

but a bad news here.

phpbb.com decrease pagerank from 5 to 4 and http://www.phpbb.com/community/ from 4 to 3

i dont know why !!!

wow...google is 9 :D

what is your pagerank today?!

Didn't .com used to be PR8 long ago? I'm sure it was definitely higher than 5.

Anyway, I held onto my PR6. Happy with that. :)

For one brief shining moment it was PR9. I don't remember how long it lasted.

It happened several years ago, I cant remember exactly what year it was. It might be even with the old site (So before march 2008), but not sure about that.

High PR can be worth tens of thousands of dollars. A PR6 website with zero traffic can generate around 4-5K of revenue yearly off of the PR alone with a couple of text link ads.

I don't know if I agree with that, getting a high PR isn't a trivial task and, typically, sites with higher PR have more valuable content.

High PR is easy to achieve if you have a way of accumulating mass numbers of genuine backlinks.
