end of the world

Post by Lumpy Burgertushie » Fri Dec 21, 2012 12:40 am

Hey, does anybody know when this end of the world is supposed to happen tomorrow?

I was just wondering if I would have time to go get some BlueBell icecream or not.

Sounds like it's moving in now, 50 MPH winds and falling temps with snow here. I predict 21 mintes after 12 tomorrow, 12:21,12/21

Been awhile since I had ice cream. If I had the money I'd buy out the store tomorrow morning and eat it all, why does the World always end when I'm broke?

I am an ice cream snob. I only eat bluebell and home made. when I was a kid I ate home made until I got a chill. I put a blanket around me, went inside and continued to eat more.

can't do that anymore, but I can still eat a lot.

Since the 21th is in that calender but 22th is not the world should end at midnight. But I don't know in what timezone, I assume UTC. :P

It isn't a question of IF the world will come to an end, it is just a matter of WHEN. Mankind may get wiped out by our own stupidity, or perhaps by an object from space. But in any case all life on Earth will be extinguished when the sun eventually runs out of hydrogen for fuel and becomes a red giant.

Additionally, if you are religious and you read the Bible, then you also believe the end will come. So once again, it isn't a matter of IF the world comes to an end, it's just a matter of WHEN.

I just want to pitch in that the Mayans didn't forsee leap years as part of the calendar, which were added in by Caesar I believe, so by that virtue, with all the leap years considered, the world should have ended 7 months ago, which is when December 21st would have been by their calendar.
