Hi,

Is there any CMS system that gives a look that the forum and website give one look, like what here is done?

The site and forums here are all custom code. You can use the Pages Extension to add additional static pages with the same look as your forum to your own site. Or there's always going with something like WordPress.

Thanks, pages isn't a option, We have WP now and works fine. Can be locked.

You can integrate user data with WordPress by merging the wp_users table with phpBB.

Hi all,
Drupal is also very good for this. You can customize your website and forum as you like. It is very cool.

Honestly I don't think that there is a best software as it all depends on your needs/wants.

In terms of basic usability and friendliness, I would have to go with WordPress or Joomla if you want to use a blog software and turn it into a CMS. There are tons of various styles and extensions/modules that you can use to make your site perfect.

If you are looking for a true CMS concrete5 would have my vote, the only issue is that there are very limited styles to make and you have to learn their system in order to even think about creating a style.

Hi KnownSyntax,
You are right, nobody can ever declare a CMS as the best.

Wordpress and Joomla are good if you have to build a specific website with limited functions. But if you talk about developing a custom website having all the possible features in it, then it becomes easier if you go for Drupal.

Essentially every mainstream CMS can integrate with phpBB.

Others have pointed out how to do it with WordPress and Drupal so here's how with Joomla: p8pbb, JFusion, and others.

You can integrate phpBB with another CMS system such as WordPress or use extension to add CMS funcionality to PHPbb.
