Wrong

Agreed
The 3 'real' fora that I own are:-
1) My Extensions
2) My Music and HiFi forum
3) My wifes 'friends' forum
1) is done for fun (if you can call swearing at lumps of code fun
)
2) is mainly for music recommendations. (so I get as good as I give)
3) Its for friends.
Like others have said, not everything has to be 'money making'. Some people like to buy beer/women/drugs for their fun. How much does that cost compared to hosting a fora of two? (my 3 fora, one test forum, several static sites including family history costs me ~£0.26 a day. Less than a chocolate bar/coffee/newspaper. Not bad VFM IMHO

is there anyone who get money from their forum? actually i want it, at least for paying the hosting
So is the purpose of your forum just to pay for it self?
