Hmmm... Ithink i'll go and download another few versions of Olympus.... and while i'm at it i'll hold the phpBB server to ransom for 50 Bertie Bears. lol

Anyway, What I believe is really opbvious here is that with these lyrics we hear sounds and our brain automatically attempts to connect them with words as we know it's a song which usually has words.

With advertising, isn't there a legal limit as to what is a subliminal message? In the states I think it's something like 2 milli-seconds or less is subliminal and illegal. Not sure about the UK even though it is my home at the moment.

Media

Well the media has been known to get away with anything so I its not impossible for them to be able to get in any amount they want.

Look at all the people who ignore fine print. Now just how effective would a subliminal message be after all?

Subliminal Message

Post by xbitz » Wed Jul 12, 2006 2:05 am

Ah..you see. That's the point they dont know the messahe is there so they cant ignore it. Remember a subliminal message is not picked up by your frontal lobe which processes thoughts and everything else you hear do or think. It by passes that filtering and influences you.

But I did contribute to the topic. It's a subliminal message. Sorry if it seemed to you nothing more than useless gibberish.

To explain for those that don't understand it, the first line was "phpBB is really cool forum software", the second line is "SHS sells Bertie bears", and the third line is "Olympus is really cool too". The messages were masked by every second letter being an x on line 1, a y on line 2, and a z on line 3.

I can assure you I've got better things to do than to click "Post Reply", slap my keyboard, then click "Submit".

I could tell the last one was Olympus but I did not take note of the first one.

Fair enough. Nephrus's rebuke is more understandable now.

But at least a few people could enjoy it. :D

A good book on this is "Media Sexploitation". Also, William Poundstone discusses this at length in one of his "Big Secrets" books.

The Most Subliminal Song In The World!

Post by Darkbeast » Wed Nov 29, 2006 2:11 pm

There is a song that last approximatly 6 minutes.
When played in reverse, you can understand 99% of what the singer is talking about and the WHOLE SONG makes sense!. Funny thing is that the song when played normal talks about Jesus but when played in reverse talks about the devil and crime. The song is of an artist that is VERY famous. Nobody knows about this except me! I can even sell the kareoke video I made of it for $5000. Cause I know it's gonna create a kaos with religious people and all the fans of the artist!

I keep yall informed!...

Thanks!
