Post by Affin » Sun May 27, 2018 8:36 pm

I've had my website now over 1 year. When I write on google search myforum.org, it says: did you mean myforum.com why does it do it?

Why would one search for a domain instead of requesting it directly?

I have a habit of searching on Google for specific keywords with site:whatever.com to be honest.

Me too for various reasons, but never the domain alone. I mean, I've encountered enough people doing exactly that instead of using the address bar of their internet browsers.

could be that since .org is relatively uncommon compared to .com that google assumes that you made a typo when you typed it in.

You could add all of your real urls to index, add the SEO sitemap extension (works for 3.2 tested), and also submit the sitemap xml to them?
