The correct abbreviation for Firefox is Fx. Consider using an internet browser similar to Firefox but still supporting the old add-on interface, such as Waterfox.
I could not find a replacement. I now use Chrome to post on phpbb. Chrome has a BBCode extension called bbCodeInsert, which is not as good but is better than nothing.Matthew G. Anyone using something for newer versions of Mozilla that they like?
I wasn't quite sure where to have it.
I have managed to Port bbCodeInsert to Firefox, which is amazing since I have no knowledge of Javascript, but I have been unable to contact the author or determine the license for the addon, so I cannot submit it to AMO.mamba wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 9:40 pmI could not find a replacement. Hi,
Unfortunately developing for me is only an hobby, and I don't have
time to rewrite the add-on to use the WebExtensions API (also not sure
all features could be covered). I'd be happy to pass this add-on on to
anyone willing to port it over to WE.

Yes, but the bbCodeInsert author has gone to ground, which is why I cannot submit it to AMO.mamba wrote: ↑Fri Jul 20, 2018 12:48 amPM sent.Matthew G. Saroff wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 2:10 pm I have managed to Port bbCodeInsert to Firefox ...If anyone wants a copy, PM me.
If anyone is keen to update the far better BBCodeXtra for Firefox, please note the author said to me in email:
