Coding a Homepage

Post by Jayson » Mon Mar 11, 2019 4:10 am

Hello,

I'm coding a homepage separate to my phpBB forum (located at /discuss). I would like to add a login form to the homepage for convenience.

How would I direct the inputted user information to the backend?

Much appreciated,

Jayson

phpBB's login has also a target address in its form's action attribute. Imitate it using the same address. Done.

Thank you. I thought differently because a password was involved.

I rarily encounter logins without having passwords involved - do you have an example?

In the past I've made search bars functional but until now I've never tried password systems.
