Reports of panic buying in the UK.
Toilet roll - how do you keep a new born baby's bum clean?
Pasta - long shelf life, To Be Fair if facing possible self isolation at short notice.
Bottled water - do they think the taps are going to run dry or Covid-19 is waterborne ? It's not cholera !
Herd mentality, monkey see - monkey do (no offence intended to simian creatures). The crap about relying on herd immunity by infection rather than vaccination is bad enough. How to make it endemic and the UK even more of a pariah state than it's already going to be after Brexit.

New opportunities for the unemployed? (the number of which will have decreased anyway :D )
A serious population decrease would be beneficial to the whole world in any case.

I don't know about other nations but I suspect water supply will be very high on the list of vital services that the British Army will be drafted in to keep running if necessary. I see Spain has already put private health providers and their facilities into public control. Socialism sometimes has its advantages. The UK government may be currently the most right wing for decades, but I I'm sure they will use the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 to keep essential services running if required. More important than anything else in the Third Millennium is electrical power. Everything else (including water, gas and naturally communications, relies on it). If anything Covid-19 may result in a lower load on 'The National Grid' :
https://www.gridwatch.templar.co.uk/
Gas is slightly more worrying because of our reliance (along with the rest of Europe) on Russia but at least spring is approaching so not so much needed for domestic central heating:
https://www.britishgas.co.uk/the-source ... -come-from

I'm not going to lose any sleep over those aspects.

[Edit] https://www.theguardian.com/business/20 ... 0-of-staff

As a household we are now supposed to be not going out even to do shopping if possible (both >70 and and with health issues). I manged to book a home delivery slot from a major supermarket chain (USA owned as it happens) last week quite easily but some items were 'unavailable'. Yesterday I just about managed to grab a slot for this coming Saturday - it remains to be seen what actually arrives. There is talk of allowing us oldsters priority in stores for a couple of hours first thing in the morning. We shall see. My training tells me that both of us should be avoiding any crowded place if at all possible.

I will be sowing seed potatoes in my garden later this week and putting out broad bean plants (fava beans). Mangetout peas sprouting in the greenhouse too. I have tended my vegetable patch for years and it will give me something to keep my occupied, 'hoeing the rows'.

The problem are the icons. I could have found a few good ones, but not for free.

OMG, don't tell me you took that seriously? 8-)
I was just joking. The coronavirus situation is not laughing matter but it's not going to make me sit in a corner and sulk. And I make jokes about just anything anyway (not always appreciated though, especially when I pick the wrong moment  ).
Having said this, those images are really good.
The coroanlogo.jpg actually looks as though it's moving. Shades of black and white only can give so much depth, it's frightening.

I know it was just a joke.
But you can still cheer up a little. It's a bit macabre as silent as a grave in the village.
I also have a cold (but for a long time and probably allergies). I also have a sore throat, headache, my spine hurts (but I have had it for a long time because of my back problems). My hands are swollen and burning like fire (but probably from a new washing powder, because I had laundry). But if it should get worse the next days instead of better it will probably look bad for me. Then I will have to go on a forced holiday (but I don't think so. Weeds never go away!). But I'm pretty upset because I'm not allowed to leave the apartment. I should even go out on the balcony.

Here you see my work after 1.5 hours.

Wow, in such a short time?

Sorry to hear about the physical difficulties. If you start getting real difficulties breathing, don't hesitate to call emergency. With a precondition, unconsciousness can set in quite quickly.

This skeleton needed only a few adjustments  Everything inside is blue and blue-green. A style takes forever until you understand the header and the relationships in the style. But after that, it just gets faster and faster.
Most of the work is done by the icons anyway. The required clean-up work after completion of the work, then takes a little bit long.

Edit 15:35 pm:
Of course there is room for improvement. But it has to be finished on time. Inside, I simply inserted the icons from the graphite for the moment :-D.

Oops, the subforum icons have the wrong lens color.
virus_2.jpg
Now I have to reduce the whole thing to a single css and correct remaining color errors. The css and html files are in pure chaos!
I must hit the hay now.

Actually you don't have to watch all of it. I'll translate the important point for you:
Garlic won't protect and doesn't cure Corana, but it's good for social distancing.
