Where is my Avatar from?

Post by Recluce » Thu Feb 16, 2006 2:51 pm

I picked this avatar from a pre-loaded group a couple of years ago on a forum because it was "cool". I've kept it and the little guy has grown on me.... but I have always wondered who/what it was. Asking others on the forum, they said that complete sets of Avatars are created for forums and that this may be one of them (meaning he is basically made-up). Or perhaps it's a comic character? I don't know....

I was hoping one of you more familiar with the avatar art packs might have an idea? Thanks!

No clue. The only creature I know of is Domokun, in 'SHS's avatar.

On the other forum it is in the avatar set "Avatar-01" and is image "073". That set has a lot of stuff, mostly comic characters, cartoon chars, manga, etc. I don't recognize most of them. Yeah, I know, still not helping too much.

Mine is called Buddha's Footprint. I got it off of a website for a folk artist named Harry Smith. Very interesting guy...

lol, it's not Ninja Gaiden, and I hate to admit I know this...

It's the CG version of Shadow, the ninja from Final Fantasy 6 for SNES. Your version was made when the game was ported to PS1 in the Final Fantasy Anthology set (FF5 and FF6). Strange that phpbb has a crapload of Final Fantasy avatars.
