Moved this from phpBB Discussion to General Discussion, since Bertie, though being phpBB's unintended mascot... doesn't function so well as an actual phpBB forum, being a plush bear and all that. ;)

Why don't we name a new forum after Bertie? Anyone want to start development on BertieBoard? :P

SHS`: You mean you didn't know that "phpBB" stands for PHP Bertie Bear? :P

My girlfriend bought me a Bertie Bear, back when the first became available. Now sits with my original Bertie. :)

Even better, once you purchase Bertie, you also get to find out the top secret: where we get them from. :D

(There's a little certificate of authenticity tag stuck to Bertie's left leg which has a web address.)

Heh

Considering that there's not much point in owning a Bertie-bear unless she knows what phpBB is, combine that with that it's cute to see females on a forum, forums are about 99% male.

Aside from that, I was just curious.
