So, one of my two arrived yesterday morning.

A rather small, bashed around looking box.
Image

His predecessor, equipped with a handy leatherman, helped his new friend find freedom.
Image

Bertie 3.0 in his protective suit, which seems to have kept him nice and cuddly on his trip back to Earth.
Image

They seemed to be the best of friends, but I should have known that trouble was brewing.
Image

It seems Olympus Bertie is jealous of his cousin's new coat, and I was once again reminded why I shouldn't leave sharp objects around them.
Image

As expected, the older, and potentially wiser, Olympus Bertie suceeded, and is very happy with HIS new coat.
Image

Luckily, they have now made up, and once number 3 arrives (I presume they were separated in transits, and he is not too far behind), I'll take a picture of the happy family.

Bertie needs to be tranquilised then plastic wrapped to ensure he doesn't unhibernate mid-transit... count yourself lucky! ;)

It's rather disturbing that I know which Bertie that is within this photo...

Can you spot him? :P

Oh my gosh it's those evil RS Components books... has the format in Aussieland changed in the last few years in line with the UK? I was employed by RS UK to help them implement the new format. I'm being haunted not just by Berties but also RS! :P

I'll have to drag out an old one and compare. I must admit I usually look in Farnell first.

You stare at hundred of Berties each day and you'll soon know... LastOf's one is the one dead centre of the second row... in front of the sheep. :P
