Holland, more specifically, I would love to live near the coast in the North. Probably near a mate of mine here, in Hippolytushoef. I currently live in the North West of the UK and it is horrbile, horrible weather, horrible internet connection and horrible "chavs".

Hawaii,

The spirit of Aloha abounds, the people are wonderful, and the weather is fantastic. the only cons are that there is too much tourism, the prices are sky-high, and there are water issues :( .

Other than that I'm just thankful to be living here in Frederick, MD, USA, the weather is fine (four distinct seasons, with summer being accented) Close enough to Washington D.C. and Baltimore for a commute, but far enough away from them to not pay their taxes, and to be surrounded by farms. The people are friendly and there is a small town feel while also having world-wide sophistication.

I'm just glad I don't live in Europe, uggghhhhh!!! I went to Europe (England) once on a month long trip and liked the trip but hated the weather.
The only place I'd even think of living in Europe would be the Cote d'Azur in the South of France. (also known as the French Riviara) but still, way too much tourism and the prices are sky-high

I'd like to have a few different places around the globe. If I had to pick one, it'd be NYC.

It is fine here, however, I would like to move to Europe, perhaps Italy, I have family there. I have been considering applying for employment in a multinational company that allows transfer of position between countries. Some pay the moving expenses, I think it would be a great way to see the world. One place that has always stood out to me, as a place of residence, would be England.
Where are you at in nor cal? I'm just outside Sacramento...

 There isn't much outback in Australia, only in NT and SA. Where there is outback it's completely unoccupied. ;)

I'd like to live in Spain or Brazil. I already know the languages, have been exposed to the cultures, and both countries are beautiful 8-)

My brother and I have been talking about developing something like timeshares for islands.

The idea is to flood an acre of our property with about 1 foot of water. Then, put in many small piles of dirt just big enough for a beach chair and a beer cooler.

Then, charge people to come visit their island whenever they want.

( half naked native girls with fans are extra ).

Back in the day;

I lived on my bass player's ranch in west texas ( just outside New Braunfels ). It is 2500 acres of cedar trees and rocks.
You had to drive 3 miles back into the woods, crossing two creeks ( no bridges ) to get to the property.
A year round creek ran right behind the stone house. The house was surrounded by hills that are a hundred feet or more high.

His grandparents bought it back in the 1950's I think.
He had to sell it about 10 years ago.

If I could live anywhere, I would buy that ranch from whoever it belongs to now and live there for the rest of my days.

I would have to figure out how to get high speed internet out there though.
Back when I lived there, cell phones had not even been invented, much less the internet, etc.

I stood out in the front yard one nite and watched the lightning dance across the tops of those hills all around the house. It was amazing.

ok, beach sand it is.

I hate to charge for the native girls, but, some things are just worth it.

I will throw in a copy of my latest book on how to live a better, happier life.
It is called " Get over it!"
