I would personally like to thank the whole phpBB Team for helping out other users, and basically making sure everything runs smoothly and stays up for the community to use free.

phpBB is the best free forum software I have used and I know this as I have tested out all the other forum softwares and none of them compare to phpBB.

Thanks Again phpBB Team, Keep up the good work.

Blarg had I only looked in General Discussion I would have found this! lol

I want to thank everyone who helped me out in the past few days as I was getting ready to upgrade my forum! Your advice has been a lifesaver and gave me the security and confidence to just do it! It was a success and I really really appreciate the time everyone has taken to give me advice and pointers! Blessings to you all and to the support forum (and the whole community!) here at phpbb.com! :D

Thanks to everyone at phpBB for making it what it is today. Seems to be a lot more robust than it was way back when. Yeahh...phpBB rocks.

The support forum is the place for support questions.

Thank you so much for creating this wonderful piece of software, and then for giving it away free!!

The only things that I can think of that could be improved are:
  • MOD installation - I would like an automated MOD install system. Somewhere in the Admin CP where you upload the MOD and it is automatically installed. Then it can be automatically un-installed if needed.
  • Add a quick reply box - A box at the bottom of the thread which is a simplified posting box, that makes posting a reply quicker and easier.
  • Live Post Edit - Make editing a post easier, using a simple edit box that does not require the page to be refreshed.
  • WYSIWYG editor - Something to make posting formatted posts easier.
But these are only small issues for me, and things I can live without.

Once again, Thanks for making phpBB and I hope you will continue to improve it.
