Hey there...

I've always thought of phpbb as the best (popular) forum software out there.

Look at vBulletin. You'd think they'd have fixed this by now, but it's impossible to log in without turning off Javascript first, as otherwise, the password box gets blanked just before the form is submitted. What a load of crap

Invision I can't really say much about... but it just seems generally annoying, with the amount of times you have to click to get somewhere, mostly.

But phpbb is great. In fact, I used it to base my own website off of - even though the only part of what's left is the templating system, which actually sucks quite a lot but I couldn't be bothered to code my own  I should get round to that sometime.

What really annoys me is people are always moving away from phpbb. Linuxforums and Overclocked Remix both used to use phpbb. And now they use freakin vBulletin. -_-

I want to help make people realize that phpbb really is the best there is. But nobody listens to me!

Thank you phpBB for the great software, sometimes it's better not to have a package system like SMF has. I hope to use phpBB3 in the near future.

Thank You!

Thank you phpBB team for the software! I've been a member on various boards for nearly seven years. I always hoped that someday I'd be a moderator of one of them. Now I'm the site admin of my own. I hope it takes off. I look forward to Olympus as my site's posts will be image intensive. Thanks again!

Many Thanks
