I agree of all of you said here that not everyone want to browse fourm on a tiny devices. I think the objective of such an app is that it allows user to quickly go to the topic/threads that he is interested in, while he is on the go (e.g. groceries store cashier line-up, anyone?). And this empower us to develop something personally really cool is the ability to push notification to user, i.e. Push Private Message etc.

This looks really cool!! I'm currently using mtheme on my boards and looks great on iPhone. However, after the 3.0 upgrade the smileys appear really large, I will have to investigate a fix.
I look forward to more info on this application.

Here is my board URL

it automatically switches for mobile devices.

Folks - the app is just released on app store today!!

http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSt ... 80732&mt=8

You can give it a try of the UI - currently the app connects to about 80 forums (all vBulletin). We are going to release a pilot phpBB3 version in next week or two and would like to invite anyone here who is interested to participate - If you join the pilot (i.e. installing the mod on your server, no change to your current files / configuration) we will work with you to fix any issues you might have - and of course will provide you a free copy that you can download it on the app store.

Please send me a PM or leave a message here, we will follow up with you shortly! I hope to see you to be part of the launch for phpBB3! :)

Hi Nully,

Yes - the worldwide release is scheduled for next version, which will be on the app store as soon as Apple approves it. I will post another update here when it is there.

However if you interested to have a preview and participate in the pilot, I can send you a internal version to get started! :D

Thank you yellopeter :D
But, as you can understand from my posts and my pseudo, I am not a webmaster and I'm afraid I will not be able to participate in the pilot.

Since this is just devolving into discussion about the MOD, I would like to redirect the conversation to said MOD's development topic.

Thanks
