Yeah, I noticed a new category in the 3.0 MODs section but didn't see an announcement for it. Now I do, good job. I'm going to try it out in a little while.
The box said 'You need Windows XP or better' .... so I installed linux.

Yeah, I have been using it for a while now to test my MODs. It works great as a "second pair of eyes." AutoMod has caught lots of easy-to-miss little mistakes in my MODX files. 8-)

I don't bash it :o , it's just, I hope I won't receive any more support requests on not edited includes/constants.php (which really happens so often, I really wonder what would happen if they missed to edited one of the other files.). And who said, I didn't try it? :geek:

AutoMod doesn't make mistakes when editing (at least not if the mod instructions are correct), users do, heck even I do occasionally. :P

I would use it for my board if I ever really installed any mods on it, but I don't. I do use it for testing all of my mods though. :)

Great to see this one going public :).
Although I must admit I ain't going to use it. I like to have more control over the edit I make, and sometime move the actual edits around to places that make more sense (in my eyes).

How long will it take till the first users start to complain that is chokes cause they have already a dozen MODs installed :P

Thank you to the Auto MOD developers for this Christmas gift! :D

- To me - since Blinky was revealed to the public as in development - there has been no doubt in my mind this was the way to go forward! :D

I'm looking forward to break my fingers on the keyboard giving it some shots it in the coming hollyday period! :D

Personally, i won't use it because - as Erik already wrote - i like to have control over the code. :geek:
Yet, i think this will be very popular and i guess it's really needed for some users.

Anyway, i sure gonna test it on a demo board.

I've tried some older SVN revisions and they seemed to work quite fine. The UI is very intuitive and I think this is the way you can provide a product that won't suffer from the same symptoms as EasyMOD.
