Looking for expressions of interest for an Oceania meetup

Where? Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane) or New Zealand (Auckland, Christchurch), it depends whether the kangaroos or kiwis are more popular

When? An Australian winter sounds appealing, especially if Brisbane or Sydney, but could really be anytime. Whatever works really

Sound like something you could get to? Reply here, and which city/cities work for you

Whilst I'm in Hong Kong, either Oz-land or Kiwiland will work.

Definitely of interest to me. Melbourne by preference but I'd probably travel to Sydney.

If you're willing to travel then yes. I just don't want to have to pay for flights to Singapore or Hong Kong

I am already scheduled to be in Sydney for a conference in May. It would be awesome to combine trips and visit some phpBB-folks in the area at the same time.

Might be an idea given the small number of people to see if there are any OSS conference out there in Oceania and work around that? Bit like the old LinuxTag thingy last year in Berlin?

July is better as uni will have finished and people can travel a bit.

The eastern seaboard of AU is probably best if people want to travel from both Perth and NZ.
