True, but if it's on by default, people with 200 forums who don't want it will have to turn it off the same way.moh.elmadany wrote:i have above 200 forums in my boardToonArmy wrote:NO we don't want to alter how the board behaves out of the box to a large degree such as adding quick reply. it will be very hard to turn it on in each forum
That's discussion that actually belongs here! (Discussing a feature in 3.0.6....) I don't know if development will accept that, or if the SQL query will be sufficient. However, I would change the wording to "Enable Quick Reply in all forums" (saying no to an "Allow" question sounds like it would prevent forum-based permissions from enabling it).moh.elmadany wrote:you can make this option in "Post settings" in ACP
Allow quick reply in all forums : Yes / No
If disallowed it .. a forum-specific setting will be used
I've received PM and because forum won't let me answer PM I'll say it here.vad111 wrote: I have a question: will this version include email alerts for moderators when there are queued or reported posts?

Can you reveal any plans on the quick reply? Just a regular no BBcode & no smilies QR? or what kind of features does will it have?ToonArmy wrote:None. It will be our own code.4_seven wrote:which quick reply mod (or codebase of mod ) will be integrated in 3.0.6.
from which autor?
The Blog Post wrote:Option-wise the quick reply implementation will be a bare-bone text area with no buttons, no options, no smilies. For this the posting page is there - a quick reply feature should be used by people who know how to use BBCode and how to properly format their posts.

Please see if it is, what the verdict was and if it hasn't been reported (I can hardly imagine), report it to the bug tracker. This thread is only intended to discuss the announced new features, not to discuss your own favourite "missing" feature or pet pieve (bug).
