So you just drop the stk directory into forum root, right? Install.txt says the same info as the stk page.

I wish the update for phpbb would be THAT easy... ;)

[EDIT]
Hmmm maybe I was a little quick..... Error when opening "User/Group Tools"tab:
General Error
Language file: tools/user_group/make_founder.php missing!

I have submitted a ticket. (53625)

Thanx,

I can't reproduce this, try removing all the files and than upload the new files into the STK directory.

That would not help, as the intended file is not actually present in the zip.
I just double checked.

grtz,
Twan

Ah I see what is happening, and that will fix the issue ;). The "make founder" tool has been renamed to "manage founders" because the latest version does more than only make a user founder.
Because you've overwritten the old files the old make founder tool is still there but the language file isn't there anymore (also the language directory has been restructured). So clear out the stk directory and upload the new file set. It *will* fix this issue.

Yes, that works.

So to refer back, the answer to this question:

Should have been:
Erik Frèrejean wrote:Clear out the stk directory and upload the new file set.
As it now works, maybe some update instructions should be available somewhere.

Yes it should have been, I didn't think of that specific change.

I'll be adding installation and update instructions to the website soon, also for the next release the update instructions will also be included in the install file inside the package.

Perhaps somewhat more explanation about the tools in the screens..

Like
  • tool 1: This tool does that
  • tool 2: this tool can be used to ode a,b or c
  • etc
on the area on the right.. (you have enough room there IMO ;)

Not sure what I'm missing here... Twice now I have completely removed everything in my stk directory and uploaded fresh files, yet, I receive this error when trying to access the STK:
Your Support Toolkit installation appears to be out of date. The latest available version is 1.0.0-RC3, while the version your have installed is 1.0.0-RC3.
Is there a way I can turn on better error reporting?
