You might be in luck, but removing columns from thge database doesn't strike me as a particularly smart thing to do :) I would recommend creating a local installation to play around with and try the conversion in a safe environment (but I would recommend that anyway).

You'll probably need to change the script path in the server settings module, and the cookie path in the cookie settings module. You're also best off changing the cookie name at the same time. ;)

Other than that, there's not much that needs changed when you're just moving the physical files.
