Please post a new topic in the Support Forum and include a screenshot of what you see instead and a link to your board.

Strange grey square underneath the radio button for selecting site-wide quick replies in the 'board features' area of the ACP?

for every new release, even in the 2.0 branch, we have the same problem.
you guys on the team have to constantly tell people not to post support requests in the discussion topic.
that is a waste of your time and the user's time.

Why not do away with the release discussion topic in the future?

The only thing allowed here is statements like, "wow, I like it" or "wow, I don't like it" or "good job" etc.

what is the point?

just my 1.5 cents.

I think the point is, that otherwise they are opening many topics saying "wow, I like that"

just my 1.0.7 cents ;)

well, that is a good point.

I know, just post a sticky that says "we don't care if you like it or not, dont' tell us"

just kidding.

Would be interesting to see how many "I don't care that you don't care if I like it or not, I'll tell you anyway"-reactions will emerge.

(btw: is this offtopic or still ontopic? Hmm, this could be split into general discussions titled "Does anyone really care?") ;)

Maybe start warning people; rule 1a does read:
Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Users consistently posting to the wrong forum may be given a warning (see policing below).

Well, I'm happy with the new release :D
Thanks for the hard work phpBB team.

I had a lot of security problems with my old board 3.0.6

Can someone state the top things to do regarding security after a new board is installed? Apart from removing the install directory which is obvious.

Or point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance :D

There haven't been any security fixes in the 3.0.7 release because there weren't any issues we've been aware of.

This kind of questions need to go in the support forum.
