As stated on the STK page
Note: The current version of the STK (1.0.0-RC3) is only intended for use with phpBB 3.0.6 and will have undesired results with the latest version of phpBB (3.0.7). A release is currently being prepared for use with 3.0.7.
The notice is a bit misleading but will be changed soon. It comes down that we haven't updated the STK to fully work with phpBB 3.0.7. One of the things that won't work at the moment is the DB cleaner as we can't clean a 3.0.7 database with a 3.0.6 schema, this will kinda revert your update ;).

Just updated all the boards on my development box. A few little hiccups, but nothing major. Great update. Thanks.

I don't think this worthy of a support ticket but I feel it should be mentioned just in case somebody else has the same or similar problem.

On the whole the update was flawless... the first site went off perfect.. however the second site.. while in the middle of uploading the update Via Filezilla the I.S.P. decided to reboot the server. :o :o

PhPbb had a few moments of confusion trying to figure out which files were uploaded and which weren't. Uploading the entire update out of Filezilla cue solved the problem... Just a FYI...

Out side of that this was a very pleasant Tuesday morning :D

I have been using phpBB for 5 years now, and this is the first upgrade that was problematic for me (every other update went like a charm ) . Unfortunatly as far as i can see support sub forum is full of 3.0.6 to 3.0.7 problems.

I have a question about the update.....

Why do i not have the automatic updater on my Administration Control Panel under the systems tab?

Also why does it not tell me what version i'm running? All it give me is "Information about your PHP configuration is unable to be determined. Phpinfo() has been disabled for security reasons."

Please help me.. Thanks

It depends on the your board setup -- please post a new topic in the Support Forum utilising the SRT and someone will be able to assist you.
THE CFO wrote:Why do i not have the automatic updater on my Administration Control Panel under the systems tab?
You have to download the automatic update package from phpBB.com and upload it first.
THE CFO wrote:Also why does it not tell me what version i'm running? All it give me is "Information about your PHP configuration is unable to be determined. Phpinfo() has been disabled for security reasons."
Your forum version is available on the index of the ACP -- the message above pertains to the PHP version, which is unavailable as your host has disabled the function needed to obtain the information.

As this topic is for discussion of the release, please ask any other questions you have in the Support Forum.

Once you've gotten into ACP, goto the "System" tab.

On the index of the ACP -- "board version" (note the lower left of the table in this screenshot).
