That's correct.
Will it affect my future automatic upgrade if I stay at 3.0.7 only and go straight to 3.0.8? Upgrade makes me nervous every time so I rather not touch it unless I have to.

Sounds like you have an old version of en-us language pack. Try downloading the latest version (3.0.7) from the downloads page.
I haven't updated since I installed it. I'm sorry for this dumb question, but my new template style is based on prosilver, however there are 3 choices of en_us to download. Which one do I download the prosilver or the regular one listed on the left of it? http://www.phpbb.com/languages/ Thanks!

You definitely need the first one ("language" column). Whether you need others depends on what you originally installed. If you have styles/prosilver/imageset/en_us directory on your board you need to get prosilver images, and if you have styles/subsilver2/imageset/en_us directory you need to get subsilver images.

iWisdom wrote:That's correct. The files were checked out from a git repository, not an SVN repository, ergo there is no keyword replacement.
The only problem about this is that user installing the 3.0.7-PL1 will not have the exactly same files as the one who will have updated from 3.0.7, will make a lot files to merge for just this them when the next version comes out.

Unless you make the updater aware of this.

Anyway, keep up with the good work.

Thanks for clarifying that for me! Hope that will take away the error I got when installing the new release.

Rather than subscribing to forums/topics and receiving notifications via email/Jabber, users can now use a feed reader to check for updates.

Bramster. wrote:What does PL stand for ?

PL means Patch-Version, with is only used if a realy small bugfix is made shortly after the last release

it's a normal term like RC, BETA, DEV, ...
