Most MODs will most likely work, but to be sure simply ask in the release topic of the MOD that you want to install. As we don't maintain any MODs we don't keep a list of which MODs work in which version . The MOD team only has a requirement where new MODs must work on the current version.
After updating from phpBB 3.0.6 to phpBB 3.0.7-PL1 I noticed that the post subject in the replies can't be more than 60 characters, which used to be 64 characters (to make room for the "Re: " prefix, because the topic subject can be 60 characters maximum).
What happens now is that if I start a new topic and make a topic subject of over 56 characters, then in replies to the topic the last characters will be cut off in the post subject of the replies.
So: if the topic title is 60 characters, then the post subjects of the replies are missing the last 4 characters. This is quite annoying to me.
Is this change intended or is this a bug. If it is intended, then why?
But then I hope there will eventually be a better way of dealing with this problem, one that doesn't truncate subjects. Because IMO truncated subject like this are ugly:

This has been the first PL release in phpBB history -- it is unlikely there will be a second one prior to 3.0.8. Generally, point releases take several months, but that's not a steadfast rule. The most definite answer is "it will be ready when it is ready"
