It worked well for me, too, but I run a fairly stock board.

Out of curiosity, why do we have to download the files and upload them again? Why can't the system just copy the new/merged files to the correct spots and offer us to download the changed files if we want a backup? That would save the whole upload process.

Because you'd need to give the web server write access to all your scripts, which is just silly.

I figured it might be a permission issue, but wasn't sure. I'm not a UNIX/Linux expert, so I'm not sure where the Web server falls in the user/group/everyone area.

Well it depends on the specific server configuration but generally its a bad idea to allow the user running the files write access to those files in a shared environment.

Hi. I installed phpbb 3.0.7-PL1. Very pleased with the possibility of reporting the news. However, many mobile phones do not support the protocol Atom. How to add the possibility of transmission of news through the protocol RSS?

It provides an RSS 2.0 feed from an Atom feed, which is what you were after.

Hello

If i have a board still running 3.0.5 and i want to go directly to 3.0.7-PL1. what automatic package shall i use?

Will 3.0.6 - 3.0.7-PL1 automatic update package work for me?

It's on the downloads page, just choose Update Package and change the dropdown to 3.0.5.
