The ASPbb Team has a user_id of 1260265 and was registered on April 1, 2009.

lodosswar (random) has a user_id of 1260255 (lower than the above) and was registered on 31 March, 2010.

Interesting. It must be the auto_decrement on the users table.

And if you look at the postcount of The ASPbb Team then it's 4110 and if i'm correct then that could mean april first 2010

If it's Microsoft that is controlling ASPbb, I don't think so. It'd be the second Tuesday of every month instead.

Oh, no fun at all.

We'd want updates and bug fixes every year on the 1st of April and then add an alpha character to that year's version.

Next year would be, 4.0.1A; next 4.0.1B; and so you have 24 years before you have to figure out your next set of version designations.

Of course, my first inclination was not to use three numeric characters, drop the '0', but then I realized we need to to sort of follow the phpBB style.

Why not being innovative and take unicode instead of alpha-chars? That let's some air for more than 17 times 65.536 years staying in this 4.0.1-Version - why hurry?
