Thanks :) I just looked throught and not read whole topic.

So what happen when I post my Beta MOD to the new MODDB? :) It will be validated firstly, and if approved, it will be shown in new MODDB?

Were the MODs currently in the validation queue/denied pending update moved over to the new MODDB System?

Well if you submit it as beta to be validated...it'll get denied. Nothing has really changed as far as validation requirements go. Only the software we use to host the contributions.

hm... My MOD that was denied pending update has gone missing then.... :o

Anyway...

And will the support for MODs and Styles currently in the release topic be converted onto the MODDB Support System?

Also as a suggestion, perhaps re-add the sort by and queue stats ect., back as they were quite useful.

Finally an 'View All Modifications' and 'View All Styles' functions would be quite useful.

It makes it harder to see what is happening in the support for the different mods.
I'm also missing this otherwise looks great
For newest MODs and styles the release forums will still be updated when one is approved so you'll still know there is a newly validated MOD or Style. As for the support issue...we're looking at solutions for that. Any fresh ideas are welcome.

It is? :? File a bug report please so we can investigate.

No they will not. They will remain where they are and will only be updated when newly approved styles/MODs are released.

Bug report as well :)

Great work!

I'm sure it took a lot of work on the back-end... but it's also good to see the phpbb team "expanding" on the UI ;)

I really like this new MODDB! Great work guys!

Three questions:
1) What exactly does the Subscribe button on the Contribution Details page do?
2) Are the MODDB Queue Stats going to be gone forever?
3) Should Mod Authors be allowed to delete their own discussion topics, like we can do in the FAQ? Perhaps even Moderate our own discussion topics - like merge and split and lock topics, etc.

This is an amazing piece of software. I had a chance a month or so back to look at the repository and it is great. Are we allowed to use this on our own websites by getting the code from the repository on code.phpbb.com?

Thanks for all the hard work you guys put into such a great new system!

That would be quite a good idea.

You get notified of updates to the contribution.
2) Are the MODDB Queue Stats going to be gone forever?
No. That has already been mentioned and will be added back soon. ;)
3) Should Mod Authors be allowed to delete their own discussion topics, like we can do in the FAQ? Perhaps even Moderate our own discussion topics - like merge and split and lock topics, etc.
Currently authors can moderate their FAQ entries. Moderation of discussion topics are handled by members of the Styles, MOD, and Moderator teams.

Yes. This may be the software we end up using for connecting ACP to MOD repos as well in future distant versions of phpBB ;)
