Obviously not every single MOD can be included. The MODs that are included seem to be among the most commonly requested, hence why they were selected.

[DEV] Pony MOD

On a side note, I'm surprised nobody has picked up the WYSIWYG MOD, as I always see requests for this.

In all fairness, my post was a joke in response to Steve's post. I had no intention of "scoffing" that person's first MOD. I have a general understanding of what it takes to develop a MOD and submit it to the CDB and respect other fellow MOD Authors (and the community in general). If I had hurt anyone's feelings, please accept my apologies, as that was not my intention. ;)

Nah, I have no use for it. :D

At my site, I AM the Pony mod. I'm not sure what I have to do with anybody else's MODs, though.

I'd like to see a good WYSIWYG editor... I don't really have a use for it either though, i've tried a few on a test board of mine but ran into bugs and never used it on my main board, the normal editor is fine though :D

Yes, because it is so regularly requested is why we included it. In fairness though, of all the MODs on the list the WYSIWYG MOD is probably the most difficult to create which might be why there have been no bites yet :)

The Thank You / Ratings MOD ("Allows users to thank a poster by rating a post or topic.") still has no entries yet, so if anyone would like to make this please send me a PM :)

MODs are not limited to just original code. As long as the licenses do not conflict, you can use libraries. There are some nice WYSIWYG ones out there, such as CKEditor or TinyMCE. If you can implement it to phpBB and package it up as a MOD, you have yourself an entry.

It is already been made (so far only for the style prosilver) - version of 1.2.8 my MOD http://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/mod/thanks_for_posts/
But while version 1.2.7 is Not Validated, so I can not put it.

Does your MOD have any feature whereby the post or topic can be rated? (ie. given a 1 out 5, or a 7 out of 10, etc, etc). The ratings feature was an important part of the brief :)

Version 1.2.8 - yes (based on THANKS rating posts, rating topics, rating forums - the choice of administrator); toplist (developed); digital or digital + graphic display.
Sorry for my bad english
