Yes...that's his actual location, in other words that's the text he has entered for his location.

oh - sorry

I did not realize that you could live in such ugly places.
My 2 cents: Whether an extension is in the CDB says nothing about its quality. It is more important to read the support topics for it. Better to avoid authors who do not answer support questions themselves, who do not update their stuff, and who do not fix bugs for years.

phpBB.com Website Feedback

Post by Ancient Viking »

I haven't been here in a while and now I took a quick look at the extensions database.

I must say, it looks like I need want to use every extension that's available, well not every one, but definitely the majority of them let say 85-95 % of them.

So I wonder if there is a way to download all extensions in one archive, instead of downloading one by one.

My thanks goes to all who have created the extensions. :D

Having at least a responsive width is better than before, but a max width of 1152px is still disappointing for today's desktop sizes - why having this restriction anyway?

That's not a website issue at all. The width here on phpbb.com now matches the default width of prosilver. The max-width for prosilver was something that was discussed at length here before coming to a consensus about which width would be displayed the best even in super large screens.

I referred to this topic explanation and what I describe affects the whole website, not just the board.

Thanks for pointing to potential reasons - who would have thought it "hurts reading" with too much width when one could just resize the internet browser window?

Vertical scrollbar is shown although enough space:
see viewtopic.php?f=556&t=2446726#p14868446

I installed a clean phpbb-version ... same here too.

How can this be solved?

The picture in that topic has no horizontal scrollbar. Other than that I don’t see what your installing a clean version of phpBB has anything to do with this.

I notice when viewing who is online that the bots are still accessing the 3.0 fora. As 3.0 has been "dead" for the last 12 months is it not time that the bots were denied access to these fora? - after all there is not going to be anything new posted in them.

I don't personally see the advantage to that. What would we win by locking the bots out?

There's still a whole lot of useful information in those forums that can be valid when searching for issues related to 3.1 and 3.2. Blocking access for bots might alter the descriptions of Google results or even get the results removed from the search engine upon their checks.

When is the ideas forum going to start using NRG? There is spam being posted in there almost every day.
