I believe that this year it is on 25th December - if that helps

I looked for information in the present KB about how to create a subforum as a redirected forum link to an external site, but couldn't find anything in the present KB then I searched for it and found this.

Why do I need to look for information that has an answer for an outdated phpBB version?

I created a redirected forum link and it worked. Shouldn't that piece of information always be included in the present KB.

Why should a information be included in the knowledge base when it is already in the user's guide?

The Support Request Template Generator needs a tweak, as page four mentions support for two non-supported versions of phpBB:
Support Request Template Generator.jpg
The bit in brackets "(3.0.x, 3.1.x)" needs to be replaced with a link to the 3.2.x support forum.

Because people often look in the KB when one is looking for information.

Besides, I've no idea that was included in that page you linked to.

My ~8 years of experience here taught me the opposite: people tend to read nothing and also don't search on their own. How did you come to that conclusion?

Both /docs/FAQ.html and /docs/README.html (which come with every installation) link to said manual - you rather apply to my theory than yours.

Is it possible to let a link, in this case a link via the Demo tab for a style, to open a separate tab in your browser rather than loading the page in the same tab one is using to read the information for a style?

It's a little annoying to go back every time one wants to continue from where the link was loaded in the browser.

Ctrl-Click ? Middle-click? Right-Click(+select)?

...when other websites want to choose what may best for me: always a new tab/window for every click - as if I'm too dumb to control it myself.

Is phpbb.com in a time warp? :?:

Christmas has been, come and gone.

12th night has passed and phpbb.com is still in Christmas mode.

Do you not know that it is bad luck to leave your decorations up
