Would have I problems if I upload 3.0.8 spanish package using 3.0.9 in my board?
You could download the code changes and make the appropriate changes to your language files (or wait for an updated translation).

do you have any members from the old smf board that have not logged in since you converted to phpbb?

if not, then you can delete that auth.smf file.

the only reason to keep it is for old smf members that have not logged in since the change.

once it is gone, then the update will most likely work correctly.

you NEED to update, if not, then the next time will be even harder etc.

Just used the 'Automatic update'

It seems perfect so far, no errors during updating anyway! on a board with a few mods. And I just noticed that friend/foe posts are hi lighted, I'm sure this didn't work before. 8-)

:D Thanks all.

It is always recommended you use the latest version of the software, so 3.0.9.

Guys,

If I update my 3.08 to 3.09 I will miss all the mods and styles because there is not any style and mod release for 3.09. I will be waiting for my favourite mods and styles to be updated too and then ihhaaaaaaa

Regards
Cosmo

nobody said you couldn't wait a while, just be aware that you may or may not get relevant help here for an out of date board if you have problems before you update.

Auto-update package from 3.0.7-PL to 3.0.9 (better late than never) worked smoothly for me on my multi-domain, extremely heavily modded board. :P

Hello every body,
before updating to 3.0.9, should I wait for Prosilver_SE (1.0.7 ?) ?
