Hi,
I did not find anything about updating Prosilver_SE.
But as it inheritates from Prosilver, may be it's enough to take files from Prosilver 3.0.9 and than, just to modify the version :?:

as long as there are no edits to the css files that SE uses and/or the html files that SE uses. you will need to go to the code changes page and see what changes are made to prosilver.

I love the 'Automatic update' (FTP)

you just FTP the install file to your root directory, run it and as in it's name ..... it then automatically does it all!!

I have a dozen mods on my board so that is what I am worried about but the last few upgrades have been heaven with this 'Automatic update' (FTP) :D superb!!

With the dutch localization it takes ages to check all files. It has been running over 24 hours now and still not completed. This is true horror! And I've only got a couple of MOD's installed.

Language files shouldnt make the update much longer at al, sounds like something has gone wrong there. Try restarting the update, and if it takes ages again, create a thread in the support forum.

It never ceases to amaze me how reliable the automatic update system is. I too have dozens of mods, many of which I've written myself. The ones I write myself are often sloppy and not in any uniform format like the official MODs, yet so far, since as far back as one of the 3.0.0 release candidates, I forget which, the automatic update has worked pretty much just as it's name would suggest.

Hello Martin,

You're confusing tolerance for due weight. Tolerance does not require withholding facts or avoiding making a sound case against someone's beliefs for fear of causing offense. Rather, tolerance is allowing false beliefs to be held. As I stated previously, everyone has the right to believe whatever they want, even if it's false. However nobody has the right to demand undue weight or respect of said false opinions.

My rebut is in response to a prior poster's pronouncement that his opinion on the matter of bugs in phpBB should be respected by mere virtue of it being his opinion. This is fallacious.

There is no personal animosity or intolerance happening here.

I believe the topic of discussion is the release of phpBB 3.0.9, not the definition of tolerance ;) Let's try to stay on topic, please :)

The auto update package may work well.
But for those who have stargate portal installed it does not work.

stargate users there is an topic for this on the stargate forum.

this may help others http://www.stargate-portal.com/forum/vi ... 135&t=1516

had some trouble, but after uploading files locally and updating that forum that was located on my computer instead of a host, then copying the modified files, I got it updated!
