I can't update, have to keep 3.0.12
To many mods installed, and all used.. To bad..

This topic is discussion regarding this board being updated to phpBB 3.1, not yours. ;)

It should work with the same credentials from this site, I just tried mine and it's fine.

a lot of business/ commercial/ organisations still have "ancient" browsers e.g. at work we still have IE7 in fact this year they just managed an upgrade from IE6 which we had for years

so I get home and look at the site with a "proper" IE11 haha "phew!!" :D a bit of a difference

yes I know 3.1 dumped support for IE8 :o yeah that might have something to do with it :P

I think that 3.1 has subtle differences to Guests

Guests might not even think much has changed, but logged in users soon start to see the improvements the more they participate in the discussions/ forums

Private messages (number) clock the unread messages which is pretty cool (as opposed to newly arrived)

Notifications is very slick too and I like it that Quick Links go from every page, not just the Index

Marvellous work, well worth it!!

3.1 is looking great and I can't wait for official release but I have two requests...one is necessary and the other would be nice to have.

1. Notifications system needs to be able to utilize "@mentions". It notifies you when people Quotes you but it doesn't appear to support @mentions by default so that would be very vital for social interactions.

2. Like button...basically a "thank you" button but more in the Facebook/Discourse style of just liking a post. I think this would be great though not necessary.

Anyway, great work on 3.1 so excited.
