While all four are desirable extensions, I think providing PayPal subscription support is the one that has the biggest financial impact on the developers/designers. It also is likely to be the most complex feature-set:
donations at any time
subscription membership to provide access to specific forums in a totally hands-off, automated system with
bi-directional interface to PayPal
Reminders to re-subscribe BEFORE membership expires
Provide an indicator in the user's profile for how many days till expiration
Allow for multiple levels of membership or contributorship, and display the ranks as an icon on the member's avatar display or profile.
Anyway, hope to be able to support subscription access to "valued-content" areas of a board soon.

Paypal is a good option.

I also want to see the installation of phpbb extensions to be more easy like WP.

Just download the zip - browse the file through ACP control panel and upload it - Activate it.

No FTP Clients for Extensions atleast.

Or please make it like a Google Play store - Select the extension and install :D

There's an extension that lets you easily install extensions without using FTP: viewtopic.php?f=456&t=2256956

But that has not been validated

Not likely to happen until 3.2 and wouldn't be an extension either.

And it's going to have a hard time getting approved because of the way it does things.

I can't believe PayPal donation is in the lead. I thought something that actually makes phpBB better would be a top priority. I've never asked for a donation in my forums in the 14 years I've been running them, ugh. Just make an announcement topic asking for donations with a link to PayPal, done. Make it global so it shows up everywhere. Next!

well, apparently you are in the minority with that opinion. :D

what you describe is a simple paypal donation thing. but I think what most people want is paypal subscription extension.

Yeah I think the aim is more along the lines of a club subscription extension.

You sign up for the club and pay your money through paypal and then you'll go in to a group until the membership expires, giving you access to necessary club info while you're a paid up member.

I voted Advertisement Management.
But I think Paypal donation would be appreciated by people who receive many donations/payments.

Yes that is the proposal for the PayPal Donations extension.
