Hello,

I have come across an issue under Forum based permissions, Forum permissions. Although each forum still shows "Advanced Permissions" for all and/or individual groups, I no longer see the drop down arrow to be able to set the advanced permissions for all and/or individual groups. Now there is a * next to Advanced Permissions that does not do anything. Please help.

not sure where the asterik came from but from what I can tell on my test boards, there has never been any kind of drop down there . just the "all yes", "all no", "all never" and then under that the link to the advanced permissions page.

It's true permissions in phpBB ACP always gave headaches ... maybe a thing to simplify in future modifications !

All fixed! :D it turned out to be an issue with the "Collapsible Forum Categories" extension. Just needed to uninstall, and reinstall.

like I said, there is no drop down and no asterik on mine. when you click on the text link that says "advanced permissions" it does exactly as you showed in that screenshot.

I do not have any machines with windows 10 on them to test ( and will not have any ) but it does work the same as it always did with windows7 etc.

however, I can't see how the windows version would have any affect on this at all.

unless maybe it is the new w10 browser.

have you tried it using some other browser, some other machine/phone etc. ?
