Hi,

that depends on the extension. But for most extensions this is possible without any problems. But some extensions will need some little changes. In doubt: try it out or ask the author.

If you're looking to work through some 3.2 changes and have others test then yes. Just send a PM with a link and we'll reopen it.
Thanks for the clarification David

Just to be sure : I have to download the entire package from phpBB 3.2 RC1 and upload it before to start the update ?

Or I forget something... ?

Yes, and use it to overwrite your existing files except for config.php, keep your old beta one for that.
Then navigate to the install folder in your browser and click the Update tab to run the database update.

If you have any further questions on this, feel free to open a topic in the new 3.2 Support forum as official support is now offered for phpBB 3.2. We want to keep this topic only for discussion about the release. :)

however it doesn't show in the restore section of the acp

In the 3.2 support forum.

The problem that you describe was an issue in an early beta version but has been fixed in RC1

Some people are still using phpBB v3.0.x. Will it be possible for them to upgrade directly from v3.0.x => v3.2.x or do they have to upgrade to v3.1.x first?

Hi,

it is possible to upgrade directly from phpBB 3.0 to phpBB 3.2. :) The process is quite similar to an upgrade 3.0 to 3.1.
