Hi everybody,

I just updated my old 3.0.12 board to the new 3.2 version. Before the update, I used banner sizes in 468*60 px. Now, this size is not nice for smartphone and tablets...

Which sizes do you use and which size is very good for desktop users AND smartphones users?

You can set a different header for the mobile version. Done.

and/or you create the correct css so that the images will resize depending on the screen size.

Thank you. Sure, but which sizes do you use?

I am thinking about this:

@media (min-width: 950px) {
bannersize in 468*60 px
}

@media (min-width: 450px) and
(max-width: 950px) {
bannersize in 336*280 px
}

@media (max-width: 450px) {
bannersize in 120*40 px
}

or something like this and you only need one large image to fit desktops.

Code: Select all

.footimg {
    background-image: url("./images/header.jpg");
    width: 100%;
    height: 150px;
    background-size: 100% 100%;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
}
