Not sure if you noticed, but from the Github link, VSE links to the code doing the work, above the code in comments was a link explaining it. https://www.evanmiller.org/how-not-to-s ... ating.html Maybe this helps.

Would be great if this feature and the rest of the forum boards could be made responsive. At the moment on my 1080p screen the community board takes up 30% real estate with more gray background than content

I'm guessing the implemented ideas is what phpBB can already due? If so, I see a Social Network login idea and is under the implemented ideas, yet I don't think the core of phpBB allows this. Only via an extension.

Also, I don't even see my idea anymore. I made a post about changing the way IPs are looked up using the whatismyipaddress website which I know Xenforo uses.

One can login with facebook or google if the forum is setup to allow that

The style in use here, prosilver SE uses fixed width at the moment, which we are planning to change, but is already responsive the other direction (smaller screen). The standard prosilver is already responsive for large and small screens.

Hi
I appreciate that you have reintroduced phpBB ideas ! There are some interesting ideas published. But there is one thing I'm wondering : 1 and only 1 idea is locked viewtopic.php?f=436&t=2228836 SEO Friendly URLs !
What does this mean ? Is it a kind of religion of phpBB developers that phpBB will NEVER have the possibility of SEO Friendly URLs (or if you prefer human readable urls) ? Are you afraid that to many users would vote for this feature (which is a standard on most of CMS and bb softwares) I can not understand this behavior ! What are you afraid of ?

It’s been discussed to death elsewhere, please don’t start another discussion on the subject. It would be much better if you went over to phpBB ideas and posted your suggestion then you’ll see.

And the locked article is from 2014.

Sorry I don't understand your answer ? Do I have the right to suggest SEO URLs again or would this "old idea" be locked again ?

The answer was pretty clear I thought: post the idea again since it's an old "idea" (not even sure why it's locked to begin with). However if the point is to just criticize and berate the volunteers and developers here, as you have already done a few posts above, then please don't bother posting the idea. Thanks.
