How old can an idea be, until it gets a bad idea? :? :?:

Nooo Christian...

Some ideas only, this is "merged", implemented or in phpBB "core" now:

idea/289
idea/112
idea/1096
idea/259 (now or in small time)

;)

Can I suggest that anything related to MODs, or for that matter 3.0, is removed

Except for the last one, none of these are implemented:
  1. While it is possible to install and enable extensions and styles, that is not what the idea you quoted is about. Please read through it and see what I mean.
  2. As far as I know groups are still not color coded in the ACP.
  3. Search is still not possible for date ranges.
  4. Styles still don't show their version in the Customise tab, which I believe was part of the point.
We were not going to wipe out ideas data just because they were "old". Some ideas will need to be removed, but most are still very relevant in one way or another. We would rather go this route than clear out everything and maybe give the feeling to the person that came up with the idea that their idea is unimportant.

I would say that if an idea is no longer relevant that the report feature be used for that and we will determine how to handle them.

"That's not how this works, that's not how any of this works." Go to the Ideas Centre and post each as it's own IDEA. The more info on how you think something should work the better. Especially with #4. Link to Ideas Centre: ideas

There are currently no plans to make a release of ideas here in our CDB, which doesn't really mean much as you can download it from the repo and use it as is.
