How do I manage SEO for the Forums?

Post by hwmana » Wed Nov 15, 2017 10:27 am

Hello Everyone

I am new to forums and phpbb. I have a just created a forum and trying to build a community around it. I have good experience with wordpress and various SEO plugins that it supports. But PHPbb is alien to me.

I want to know, is there anything extra that I need to be aware of in PHPbb in regards to SEO. How do you manage it? In wordpress we had plugins to manage it, but how do you do this in PHPbb? Using Extentions?

Also, is there any guide which you can share that tells about SEO for forums in particular?

Thanks in advance.

No
The search engine makers are all clever enough to have that worked out.

There’s a long topic about SEO, maybe you’d like to have a look at it:

Lots of nice fresh (original) information on a regular basis tends to get the search engines attention.

There are no ‘threads’ in phpBB, they are topics.
