Hope it's OK to ask this here,
I'm currently working on a style for an admin who will be switching his forum to phpBB, he wants the index to look as simple as possible for his elderly members etc,
We are looking for a bit of input on the quick login box,
Do you log in using the quick login box on the forum index?
Or either log in after hitting post reply or the navbar login button at the top?

If you check "Remember me" then you only ever need to login once

As an aside you need to replace the wobbly letter type captcha, they were defeated years ago and you’ll get bombed with spam. I suggest you have a look at Knowledge Base - How to configure Q&A CAPTCHA.

That's a good point,
If not many people use the quick login box we were thinking of removing it, but don't want to do that if it's used often,

Been getting a lot of spam registrations for a while so be nice to get that cut down.
Boom.
